Our Identity

what do our name and logo represent?

“All Saints”

… is a reference to the fact that Scripture calls all who put their trust in Christ “saints” which means “holy ones” or “those who are set apart”. We are being joined by God to “all the saints” throughout history in the worship and service of God. Paul describes this as stones being joined together into a holy temple (Ephesians 2:19-22).

Our Shield

…The Lord God is our strength and our defense (Psalm 94:22). For that reason we have chosen a shield to represent our community and school. The shield is marked with the first two letters of the Greek word for Christ, Chi (X) and Rho (P) to demonstrate that we are His children, His soldiers, and His saints. We are united with all of His saints across all times and all places by the incarnation and work of Jesus Christ – his life, death, and resurrection – His ultimate act of love and deliverance.

As a Scholé Group

… All Saints Christian Academy is a Christian hybrid educational community that combines schooling at home with on-campus learning. We employ the content of a classical curriculum and the pedagogy of restful learning embodied by the word scholé. The word scholé (pronounced skoh-LAY) comes from a Greek word that means “restful learning,” with the connotation of “contemplation,” “conversation,” and “reflection.”  Our mission is to pursue deep engagement that results in enjoyable, permanent learning—that is, to bring scholé to our parent-teacher partnership.

ASCA is a Christian educational community serving central North Carolina for PreK through 12th grades. We employ a hybrid model of schooling-at-home with on-campus learning.
